BookSmiles Daycare Delivery Program

BookSmiles has just surpassed 3 million books distributed, promoting childhood literacy, inspiring readers, supporting educators, and strengthening communities. Their Daycare Delivery Program, launched in 2024 with Weiner Family Foundation support, ensures that new and gently used books reach children in daycare centers and early learning programs across the region.

In just nine months, over 158,000 books were delivered, including 25,000 sourced through a $14,000 grant from the Foundation. The program helps children and families build home libraries and fosters a lifelong love of reading.
